Daisuke Mori
Born in Aichi Prefecture.
Joined Arata Audit Corporation (currently PwC Japan Limited Liability Audit Corporation) in 2008 and has since been involved in a wide range of financial statement audits, including those under the Companies Act, Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, AUP, and referral audits. Additionally, he has conducted internal control audits (J-SOX, US-SOX, Companies Act), led internal audit projects, and provided internal control and accounting advisory services for listed and non-listed companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and foreign-affiliated corporations.
From 2014 to 2016, he was assigned to PwC US, where he handled PCAOB audits and US-SOX audits for American companies, known for operating under some of the world’s most stringent regulatory standards.
From 2019 to 2021, he was seconded to PwC UK in London, a global hub for accounting and taxation. Despite the challenges of the global pandemic, he provided financial statement audit services and internal control advisory primarily for Japanese companies. Additionally, as a member of the Japan Desk, he was involved in a variety of professional services, supporting clients with their international business operations.
Beyond his role as an engagement manager and project leader, he has extensive experience managing and delivering professional services to multinational teams composed of experts from around the world.
Leveraging his deep expertise in financial statement audits, internal controls, and internal audits, he founded Daisuke Mori CPA Office in 2022 with the goal of delivering exceptionally fast and high-quality services, providing clear and precise advice on accounting and management, effectively responding to client needs, and offering cross-border professional services in English.
